Their Story
Barrio Taco is an authentic Mexican restaurant in Ocean City, MD, inspired by tradition. Their vision is high-quality cuisine made with fresh ingredients from original sources in Oaxaca, Mexico. The restaurant’s theme is a neighborhood, walk-up, carry-out window with a limited menu that focuses on flavor, homemade salsa, and specialty drinks. Since opening, Barrio Taco has served thousands of tacos and has received dozens of five-star reviews.
Our Journey
As D3 partnered with Barrio Taco, it was clear that their marketing needed to match the lifestyle that the brand evokes. When designing the new website and capturing imagery, the focus stayed on a classic, authentic, rustic-style neighborhood restaurant serving up traditional Mexican food.
The website design included plaster-style textures that resemble Mexican architecture. We captured imagery of the dishes, looking good enough to eat, to be front and center on the webpage. The homepage also features the menu to emphasize what Barrio Taco is all about—delicious cuisine.

To help happy customers take the Barrio Taco experience home with them, we also included online ordering integration with a mobile app. Our team added an online store for website visitors to shop and purchase apparel and gift cards directly on the site. The shopping cart allows visitors to make easy and secure e-commerce transactions.
