The Story

For 35 years, they’ve been Ocean City’s premier beach nightclub, but in the last decade, Seacret’s ambition and dynamic business development strategy have elevated the company into a suite of brands, each distinct, but connected like islands in a chain. 

D3 worked to highlight each of the entities on the 49th St. & Beyond resort campus, ultimately emerging with a renewed vision and multiple, well-defined identities. From the Hideaway fine dining restaurant, Seacrets Private Events, and the Area 51 wedding and event venue, to Hang in de Bay cabanas, boats, and tiki cruises, and Seacrets Boutique clothing and merchandise, there’s space for every type of celebration. 

While operating Seacrets Distilling, launched in 2016, the Atlantic Beverage Center, and Ocean 98 radio, Seacrets has shown time and again how they’ve elevated themselves to a cultural experience of Ocean City, and are now expanding their legacy as a luxury restaurant brand and event company. 

Each part of 49th St. & Beyond has its own purpose, place, and personality, but together they form a unified paradise. D3 has been with Seacrets every step of the way, and this expansive website redesign project was no different. 

Our Journey

The previous Seacrets website was beloved for its energy, but it cast the brand almost entirely as a nightclub. When Seacrets expanded with 49th St. & Beyond, they needed a site that could grow with them, showcasing dining options, live music, and ticketed events, private gatherings, and the new culinary destination, the Hideaway, without feeling cluttered or confusing.

That’s where D3 stepped in. From day one, our team applied strategic user experience design, custom development, and creative problem-solving to craft a site that delivers exactly what locals and visitors want. We made sure every new feature, from brand highlights to advanced ticketing and dining information, felt seamless, while keeping the unmistakable Seacrets personality: refreshing, playful, and a touch sandy.

Even the toughest challenge, a complex, fully tailored calendaring system to manage Seacrets’ nonstop, around-the-clock events, was handled with precision. With our Project Management team and Developers’ expertise and passion for problem-solving, the site launched smoothly, capturing both the excitement and the charm of Seacrets as effortlessly as a bride cruising to her bayside wedding on a pontoon at Area 51.
