Since opening their first location on the Ocean City Boardwalk in 1963, Old Pro Golf has been a staple of classic coastal fun and family tradition. As Ocean City’s entertainment scene evolved, the Old Pro Golf team wanted to stay on par with modern
Partnering with D3, Old Pro Golf embarked on more than a redesign; they underwent a brand transformation, including an updated logo, a fresh new website, vibrant photography and videography, and social media revival. With their enchanting sculptures and eye-catching fairways as the backdrop, our D3 team set out to create a visual identity as dynamic as the experience itself.
Beyond the rebrand, Old Pro Golf also wanted to expand its offerings with a streamlined system for private events and an online scorecard app, paving the way for its next chapter.
Our Journey
We partnered with Old Pro Golf to breathe new life into a beloved Ocean City landmark. Through a refreshed logo, modern website, and a cohesive content strategy, complete with stunning photography, adventurous video, and course-side social storytelling, we helped them reconnect with loyal fans and intrigue the OC community. Every creative decision was designed to mirror the whimsy and joyful energy on their courses, highlighting the vivid creatures and characters, incredible effects, and mesmerizing scenery along their fairways.
During this process, D3 became part of the team at Old Pro Golf, with regular and open communication that kept us on course. That foundation of trust allowed us to swing big creatively, exploring bold ideas and delivering a refreshed brand identity that felt both timeless and new.
The website expansion included new location landing pages featuring photos of each course, and clear, concise content for today’s on-the-go visitors. These pages cover each facility’s specific offerings, like accessible courses, hours, and parking availability. D3 also designed custom forms for the new groups page that integrate seamlessly with Old Pro Golf’s team tools, ensuring every lead from birthday parties to group events gets a direct follow-up, without a single detour through a sunken ship or dino cave.
Beyond the website, our dynamic social team keeps the momentum going on Facebook and Instagram, producing vibrant content, interactive campaigns, and video ads that bring Old Pro Golf’s playful spirit online and strengthen their connection to the community through fun giveaways and contests.
Not to mention, our team also set up the scorecard app and explanatory signage throughout each course, giving golfers a modern alternative to pencil and paper.
This vibrant digital experience brought Old Pro Golf’s story back to life at every touchpoint—rekindling nostalgia for longtime fans while inspiring fresh excitement among first-time visitors. With a streamlined website and simplified event workflow, Old Pro Golf is perfectly positioned to grow its community and keep the fun rolling for generations to come.
